Transformation process of the Food + Drink Symposium requires time for reorientation

Das Symposium Essen + Trinken hat sich in den letzten 30 Jahren zu einer der renommierten Dialogplattformen der Branche in der DACH-Region entwickelt. Einmal im Jahr versammelt die Highlight-Veranstaltung des Symposiums zwei Tage lang alle wichtigen operativen Entscheider aus Industrie und Handel zum direkten Austausch. Doch 2024 wird das Symposium zum ersten Mal – mit Ausnahme der Corona-Jahre – ein Jahr pausieren: Angesichts der massiven disruptiven Veränderungen in der Branche sind die Veranstalter des Symposiums zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass die wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Umwälzungen von den eigenen Formaten noch adäquater abgebildet werden müssen. Die derzeitig vorgenommenen Anpassungen des Symposiums reichen leider nicht aus, um dem Wandel in Wirtschaft, Industrie und Handel gerecht zu werden und auch in Zukunft der Branche ein relevantes Veranstaltungsformat bieten zu können. Aus diesem Grund haben die Verantwortlichen der Dialogplattform die schwere Entscheidung getroffen, das Symposium in 2024 auszusetzen, um dem bereits gestarteten Transformationsprozess genügend Raum und vollen Fokus zu geben. Geplant ist, die Veranstaltungen des Symposiums zukünftig zu einer modernen Plattform auszubauen, die auf möglichst vielfältige Weise die Gestaltung relevanten Zukunftsdialogs ermöglicht. Im Zuge dessen sollen neue Veranstaltungskonzepte entwickelt werden, die die Branche umfassender begleiten und in der Umsetzung agiler sind. Das Symposium wird innerhalb dieses Prozesses bewährte Formate konsequent überprüfen und neu denken, um zukünftig eine maximal sinnvolle Dialogplattform für die Branche bieten zu können. Details zur Neuausrichtung und die Veränderungen der Zukunft werden bekannt gegeben, sobald diese final feststehen und ausgearbeitet sind.

After completing her studies in business administration in Cologne, she worked for Johnson & Johnson, H.J. Heinz, Dr. Oetker and Bolton Group, among others. Most recently, she was Managing Director of the Lambertz Group. Natalie Gerits has been a partner in NGF rocks - We rock your markets for more than four years.
