Symposium 2023 unites the focus of industry and trade around meta-themes of the food industry
The two-day highlight event in Munich successfully started on 15th + 16th June 2023. As an independent dialogue platform, the Symposium brought together decision-makers from trade, industry and the start-up scene as well as industry experts from business and science for a joint future dialogue. Together, all participants took the opportunity to discover market-ready food innovations and trend products for future product ranges in the marketplace. The first-class conference focused on the meta-theme of nutrition, responsibility and sustainability. To answer pressing questions of the future, leading figures from science, trade and industry discussed the need for greater cooperation between all industry stakeholders.
International brands, regional companies and emerging start-ups staged market-ready food innovations for future product ranges in the marketplace. This year, the structure of the event was designed around the new marketplace stage, where the specialist conference and the extended programme took place in the middle of product range trends. Top-class speakers – such as Christoph Graf, Member of the Purchasing Management Board, Lidl Germany, Manfred Vondran, Managing Director/CEO, Peter Kölln GmbH & Co. KGaA, Prof. Dr. Stephan Rüschen, DHBW Heilbronn, and many more – gave a 360-degree insight into the 2023 conference topic: Nutrition, responsibility and sustainability.
The date for the next symposium has already been set: 27 and 28 June 2024.
